The Donald W. Treadgold Papers in Russian, East European, and Central Asian Studies invites submissions of scholarly research in the regions indicated by the title. Publications include articles that may be too long for most journals but too short to appear in book form, as well as papers from symposia. Submissions should, therefore, be between 40-100 pages in length, including endnotes.
We request that authors send three anonymous copies of their submission. Submissions will be sent to at least two appropriate referees. We will insure the anonymity of authors and reviewers. The Editor will base her decision on her interpretation of the referees’ reports.
It is the policy of the Donald W. Treadgold Papers not to consider for publication work that is under consideration elsewhere. Nor will the Papers consider for publication work that has been previously published or that would appear elsewhere prior to publication by us.
Submissions should be sent in triplicate to the address below, with attention to Glennys Young, editor. We do not accept electronic submissions. If a manuscript is accepted for publication, we will need a disk version thereof in Microsoft Word format. Scholars who are interested in submitting work should request a style guide.
The Editorial Council of the Donald W. Treadgold Papers does not endorse the views, or assume any responsibility for the factual accuracy of, any publication in the series. Authors alone are responsible for the views expressed and factual accuracy of their contributions.
