Fort Ticonderoga will hold its Seventh Annual War College of the Seven Years' War on May 18 & 19, 2002. This two-day symposium focuses on the military and social history of North America during the Seven Years' War (1754-1760). The War College provides participants with an opportunity to listen to and interact with the presenters in a relazed atmosphere. Participation is limited and is by pre-registration only.
The keynote speaker this year is Dr. Stephen Brumwell, author of the just published Redcoats: The British Soldier and War in the Americas, 1755-1763.
For registration information and a complete list of speakers and topics, contact Richard M. Strum, Director of Interpretation & Education, at Fort Ticonderoga.
