The Philosophy Department of the University of Dayton, in conjunction with the Department of History, the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work, and the School of Education will hold a multidisciplinary colloquium, November 8-9, 2002 exploring all aspects of Addams’s activities, thought, and legacy.
Plenary Speakers: Charlene Haddock Seigfried, Professor of Philosophy, Purdue University and Victoria Bissell Brown, Associate Professor of History, Grinnell College.
Submission Guidelines: Papers exploring all aspects of Addams’s life and work are welcome. Presentations should be 20-25 minutes. Please submit the paper plus a 150 word abstract by June 14, 2002. Electronic submissions are encouraged.
