The Institute for Historical Study (IHS) and the National Coalition of
Independent Scholars (NCIS) will be hosting a no-host-bar reception at the upcoming American Historical Association Annual Meeting in San Francisco. The reception offers an opportunity for independent scholars, especially independent historians, to discuss issues of common concern.
The reception will be held on Friday, January 4th, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Hilton Union Square #24, on O'Farrell Street between Mason and Taylor Streets. We especially encourage all independent scholars to join us, but everyone is welcome.
