The fiftieth-anniversary Midwest Slavic Conference is scheduled for 22-23 March 2002 at Bowling Green State University. Papers and panels are being requested in all disciplines related to Slavic histories, political science, literatures, linguistics, sociology, economics, and other fields. Papers may be submitted without a schedule panel. Deadline for proposal submissions is 10 January 2002. Proposals should be sent with an approximately one hundred fifty-word abstract to Professor Timothy Pogacar at Bowling Green University.
