The Library of Virginia is pleased to announce that the Classified Index to the Dictionary of Virginia Biography is available on the Library of Virginia's Web site. The Classified Index for volumes one
(Aaroe-Blanchfield) and two (Bland-Cannon) lists biographies alphabetically, chronologically, by gender, by race, by place of origin, by principal places of residence, and by occupation.
From the Library's Web site at http://www.lva.lib.va.us, click the Index tab in the left margin, select the letter D, and open the Dictionary of Virginia Biography home page.
