Join leading psychologists, neuroscientists, advanced Buddhist scholar-practitioners and the Dalai Lama of Tibet in two extraordinary days of presentation, dialogue and debate. The goal of Investigating the Mind is to create conditions for long-term exchange between two powerful investigatory traditions that have much to offer each other, Buddhist practice and biobehavioral science.
To help lead us through these issues, session coordinators from the biobehavioral sciences and from Buddhist studies will be joined by panelists of world-recognized neuroscientists, psychologists and scholars from pholosophy and the history of science. The Dalai Lama, whose active participation in exchanges of this sort goes back some 15 years, will be involved in the discussions of every session.
