Brasilia 2002: Exploring Cultural Perspectives
CALL FOR PAPERS
The International Cultural Research Network (ICRN) was established amidst strong collegiality and academic friendship at the University of Alberta, Canada in 1998 by several hundred people who share, collaborate and publish their work in an atmosphere of academic friendship. The ICRN holds biennial congresses.

The ICRN Congress requests multi-disciplinary papers for presentation in Brasilia from July 2 -6, 2002. One need not be a member to attend the Congress but membership is a requirement if you wish to present and publish papers through the Network.
The focus of the Congress will be on exploring cultural perspectives . The aim is to find the unifying effects of the following themes:
- Childhood and Youth: any topic;
- Education: any level, administration, policy, literacy etc.;
- History and Science: as wide a scope as possible;
- Globalization: for, against, or in the middle;
- Media and Technology: any applicable topic.
