Call for Papers: Women’s Studies
The Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association invites submissions of papers and presentations in the area of Women’s Studies for its annual conference to be held February 13th-17th at the Albuquerque Hilton in Albuquerque New Mexico.
Possible topics for consideration include, but are not limited to:
Women’s Studies and
Literature
Art
Music or Radio
Film
Photography
Internet
Television
Theater
Advertising
Politics
the Environment
Teaching and studying Women’s Studies in the new century
Women’s Studies and issues of race, gender, socioeconomic status, color, nationality, & religion
Feminist theory and popular culture
Please send proposals for papers, slide shows, video presentations, dramatic presentations, etc..... (250 words or less) by December 10, 2001 to the address below.
Electronic submissions are strongly encouraged. In the subject line of the email please put “PCA/ACA Women’s Studies Abstract.” Please also let me know of any
scheduling concerns and equipment needs.
