PCA/ACA conference in Albuquerque, Feb. 13-17, 2001
Extended deadline: Seeking papers on topics related to computers/the internet and film. All aspects of the relationship between the two media are of interest, including analyses of films about computers, of computer generated films and special effects, and technical film-making discussions, among many other possibilities. Any theme, as long as the paper attends to the connection between the two media.
E-mail your title and brief abstract (less than a page, if possible); don't yet send the paper itself, which I understand may still be a work-in-progress at this point.
Include in your e-mail a note of introduction, mentioning your previous work, academic background and interests, etc., whatever seems relevant to your topic. (Note: A background in film or computers is not necessary, if your topic is interesting.)
