The IASTED International Conference on Information and Knowledge Sharing will be held November 18-20, 2002, at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef and Morning Star Beach Resort on the US island of St. Thomas. IKS 2002 will highlight advances in the research and development of models and tools that integrate computation and telecommunication. It will also focus on networking that facilitates the exchange, interoperability, collaboration, management, retrieval, discovery, and sharing of information and knowledge in a broad range of disciplines. Presentations and demonstrations of the most recent technical developments and current implementations of products and services will create opportunities for organizations and individuals from around the world to learn and exchange ideas.
IKS 2002 will consist of the following main topic areas:
