For this panel we are seeking papers on the relationship between Transatlantic Studies and separate area studies. We wish to explore how the internationalisation of area studies, with a focus on the Atlantic basin, impacts upon our methodologies in scholarship and teaching. Proposals are welcome from scholars and postgraduates working in any discipline—or indeed across disciplines—who may normally locate themselves in American Studies, European Studies, Latin American Studies, African Studies and Caribbean Studies.
