Updated Call for Papers:

The Women's and Gender Studies Program at Texas A&M International University (Laredo) proudly announces the theme of our 2002 conference, "Masculinities and Femininities," to be held on our campus March 21-23, 2002. We therefore invite 250-word, double-spaced proposals for papers, complete panels, and roundtable discussions for the conference, on topics related to any aspect of our theme. Please send 3 copies of the abstract and include a one-page c.v. and contact information for all participants referenced in the proposal. Proposals may be submitted via regular mail or email to the addresses below; if submitting by email, attachments in Word 97 or Corel WordPerfect 8 or higher are preferred. We welcome submissions from any academic discipline, and especially encourage graduate students as well as professional scholars to apply. Postmark deadline for submission is November 15, 2001, with acceptance letters to be mailed by early to mid-December.
