CALL FOR PAPERS
New Frontiers in Graduate History
6th Annual Graduate Student History Conference
Friday, March 15 - Saturday, March 16, 2002
York University, Toronto, Ontario
We invite applicants to submit proposals of 250 words for individual papers or panels of 2-3 papers. Panels will be organized around the following suggested themes:
Class, Culture, and Consumerism
Gender and Sexuality
Landscapes, Ecology and Environments
Nation, State, and Community
Race, Ethnicity, and Identity
Religion and Philosophy
Science, Technology, and Medicine
Theory and Methodology
Papers will be organized into sessions of 2 or 3 papers with 20 minutes allotted for the presentation of each paper. Please include a short biographical statement, a mailing address and an email address with your proposals. Submissions from all disciplines, which take a historical approach to their subject, are welcome.
