The annual Arkansas women's history essay contest is sponsored by the Arkansas Women's History Institute. The award carries a $1000.00 prize. Manuscripts will be judged for their contribution to our knowledge of women in Arkansas history. Essays must include the following:
- Thesis
- Sources
- Textual criticism
- Historiography
Papers should be double spaced and not exceed 35 pages. Name of the author should only appear on the title page. Submit four copies to:
