With this message I would like to inform you on some important updates of our website "Justiz und NS-Verbrechen" / "Nazi Crimes on Trial".

Recently added to our site on the postwar prosecution of Nazi crimes in Germany were the following items:

an overview of the more than 900 Nazi trials conducted in East Germany since 1945
a thoroughly revised and updated overview of postwar prosecution policies regarding Nazi criminals in East Germany, including a statistical comparison between the East and West German prosecution policies.
extensive information - in English - on the project, including the upcoming new volumes of both the West and East German series of trial judgments
English translations of the overviews of West and East German trials.
