Thirdspace (in some of its conceptualizations) is a place ‘in between’ the
positions of duality scholars have traditionally accepted (white/Black,
First World/Third World). It can encompass both theory and physicality,
hybridity and movement, simultaneous intangibility and foundation. It has

All articles are reviewed by a panel of established scholars.
The deadline for submissions for this special issue is December 10th, 2001.
