Papers are requested for a panel on exploring the regional differences and practices of Indian enslavement in North America.
Examples might include how and why Native Americans were enslaved, by whom, in different regions of North America.
If selected, the panel will be part of the Great Lakes American Studies Association conference in Athens, OH, Apr. 11-13, 2002.
Please submit one-page descriptions with a title and summary, along with a short cv.
