The Middle States African Studies Association is currrently seeking 200 word abstracts for paper and panel proposals for the 3rd Annual Conference entitled "The Global Legacy and Application of the Vision of Booker T. Washington: Science, Technology and Education." The Deadline is February 22, 2002. Papers and panels will be accepted from all disciplines, priority will be given to the following:
- Indigenous Knowledge Systems,
- Historical Legacy Racialism-Ethnicity-Religion,
- International Education and Partnering,
- Industrial Education,
- Education (pedgogy, history, practice, culture),
- Curriculum Innovations and Critical Studies,
- Educational Technological Transfers,
- Agricultural Technology,
- Tradition Literature and Restoration,
- Diaspora Studies and Pan-Africanism,
- Linguistic Transformation,
- Environmentalism,
- African-Caribbean-Latin American International Relationships.
