CALL FOR PAPERS
Middle Atlantic Conference on British Studies
Annual Meeting, April 5-6, 2002
New York City
The Middle Atlantic Conference on British Studies will hold its annual meeting on April 5-6, 2002, at the CUNY Graduate Center (34th Street near 5th Avenue) in New York City. Professor Randolph Trumbach will give the plenary address on "Love in Modern Culture: Heterosexual and Homosexual, Domesticated and Libertine, Human and Divine".

We particularly encourage proposals for roundtables and thematic sessions that reach across chronological boundaries. All proposals should include a 200-word abstract and a one page curriculum vitae with mailing address, phone number, fax and e-mail address, if available. Please indicate in the proposal if your presentation will require AV support.
Inquiries can be made via email to MACBS Program Co-chairs, Gail Savage and Alastair Bellany.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND PROPOSALS VIA E-MAIL
Proposals should be sent by November 5, 2001 to Professor Alastair Bellany.
