This will be the 25th annual meeting of the Southwest/Texas Popular
Culture/American Culture Associations. Over forty (40) areas of
interest are listed on our web site with Area Chairs waiting to
hear from scholars and aspiring scholars. Write to them before
the middle of November to participate in our annual meeting.
We anticipate attendance of 1000 or more and welcome the novice
scholar and collector as well as the doddering professors like
Dr. Rollins. This is a spirited group and we will give you a
warm "Howdy" when you come in the door; the sessions are friendly,
but the discussions are focused and useful. We enjoy what we do.
Dr. Kathy Merlock Jackson, President of the national American
Culture Association, will attend as will many other worthies to
include Ray B. Browne, Founder of the PCA/ACA.
The web site will have full information on last year's meeting,
a good way for newcomers to check out our interests and accomplishments. Graduate students are welcomed...for you are
our future!
