National Conference on Curriculum Diversity
Call for Abstracts
Eastern Michigan University will host the conference "Integrity & Inclusion: Diversity in the Academic Curriculum and Beyond" November 2-3, 2001, on its Ypsilanti campus, about 30 miles from Detroit, and 10 miles from Ann Arbor. The event aims at showcasing innovative projects now being developed and implemented to diversify curricula, at all levels, in terms of content, pedagogy, and application. Dr. Cornel West, of Harvard University, will give a keynote address in the evening of opening day.
Please send abstracts (250 words or less) for individual paper or poster presentations, or for entire sessions (4 speakers per session), to the Conference Chair, Dr. Liza Cerroni-Long at the address below. Deadline for abstracts: September 1, 2001. Registration fee, including lunch and dinner on opening day, is $70 ($95 after October 1, 2001).
