The Program Committee for the spring 2002 meeting of the American Catholic Historical Association at the University of Portland, Portland, Oregon, March 15-16, 2002, invites members of the Association and others to propose topics and speakers for individual papers and complete sessions. Topics dealing with Catholicism in the western U.S. and Canada as well as Catholic Studies programs are especially welcome. Please send your proposal and a brief CV to Rev. James Connelly at the address below. Individuals wishing to propose a complete session should send a brief description of each of the papers and a short CV for each participant. The deadline for the submission of proposals has been extended to November 1, 2001.
