Nebraska Wesleyan University will present Visions and Ventures: The Promise of the Liberal Arts September 19-21. Funded by the Teagle Foundation, the Symposium will feature presentations by internationally known speakers--including environmentalist Winona LaDuke, authors Jared Diamond and Jeremy Rifkin, and Nobel Laureate and former President of Costa Rica Dr. Oscar Arias.

The university community, high school classes, educators, and members of the public are invited to engage in a dialogue that addresses the technological, ethical, and environmental challenges of the 21st century. All presentations are free and open to the public.
