CALL FOR PAPERS AND BOOK REVIEWS FOR ESOTERICA (http://www.esoteric.msu.edu)
*ESOTERICA* is looking for academic articles and reviews of books on
topics related to the emerging field of Western esotericism for our next
issue. As you may know, *Esoterica* is an electronic journal to be found at http://www.esoteric.msu.edu. Below is the table of contents for our current issue, which will give you an idea of the kinds of subjects in the journal's purview.
We are interested in articles on such topics as alchemy, Gnosticism,
contemporary esoteric groups or individuals, literary or other figures who have been inspired or influenced by esoteric currents of thought, as well as in questions of methods or approaches to the study of esotericism.
We also feature music and paintings that have been inspired by Western
esoteric themes or subjects, and would be interested in articles on
esotericism in art history as well as in related topics.
You may contact us through email at studies@esoteric.msu.edu. Please send a query first, before sending a full manuscript. We are very interested
in publishing reviews of recent books in the field as well. Submissions
will be sent to academic reviewers, and although we try to respond within a few weeks, it sometimes takes longer. We look forward to hearing from you.
