Abstracts only (150-200 words) for proposed collection of essays or journal issue on Richard Marius. Possible topics include but not limited to: thematic issues and motifs in his fiction; Marius and the saga genre; Marius and historical fiction; treatment of southern and western regions; representation of family; treatment of gender; theological and ethical issues; Mariusís biographies and nonfiction. Editors are currently seeking commitment from academic journal or university press.
