The Society for Religion, Literature and Culture will be holding its eleventh conference at the College of Ripon and York, St. John, York, UK, 13-15 September, 2002. The theme for the conference is: "ETHICS AND RESPONSIBILITY: THEOLOGY, LITERATURE AND FILM." Plenary speakers are: Prof. Erik Borgman, Prof. Graham Ward, and Lord David Puttnam. I have been asked to organize two panels on "Religion, Film and the Postcolonial." I am seeking proposals for 20-minute papers.
