UNEVOC- Canada in partnership with the International Centre for the
Enhancement of Learning Potential is hosting an international conference to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, August 18-25, 2001. The conference entitled "Unlocking Human Potential to Learn" is designed to introduce participants to the best practices and innovative approaches, strategies and techniques for teaching "learning how to learn" skills to children, youth and adults. Paper presentations will focus on three major themes: enhancing learning skills of special needs and gifted learners of diverse cultures, developing critical skills for lifelong learning and improving effectiveness and efficiency in vocational education and workplace training.
