The Society for Military and Strategic Studies (SMSS) is a multidisciplinary group of students who share an interest in security, strategy and military issues. The goal of this conference is to provide a forum for discussion as well as an avenue for unique intellectual development.

All proposals will be considered. Some past panels have included: Imperial Warfare, Security & Strategy, Civil Military Relations, Human Security, Future War: Technology and the Revolution in Military Affairs, Cultures and Conflict.

This sample list is not exhaustive and we welcome original ideas. Both undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines are welcome and encouraged. Proposals should be no longer than 250 words and presentations should conform to a 20-minute format.
