The fifth Congress of the America's is being held at University of the America's - Puebla, Mexico, October 18 -20, 2001. Presenters will be converging on the city throughout Latin America, the United States, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. The program and its panels tend to be both multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary. Panels, presentations, and papers may explore the challenges and opportunities electronic distributive systems provide for collaborative educational models that are transforming pedagogy.
Panel topics might include: History.edu vs. History.com: New Challenges for Online Instruction; Collaborative Initiatives: How can Technology Improve Cultural Studies?; Distributive Educational Models vs. Traditional Pedagogy: A Paradigm Shift or Callous Disregard of Proven Methodologies?
