The Kent State University's University Teaching Council
invites academic papers and essays on the Scholarship
of Teaching and other pedagogical issues. Papers on
learning strategies are particularly welcomed. Paper
presentations will be made at the Fall 2001 Celebrating
College Teaching Conference to be held on October 25-26,
2001 at Kent State. Two reviewers will blind-referee
articles and essays. Review decisions will be mailed by
July 1, 2001.
Authors of accepted papers are required to submit two
copies of a two-page abstract of their papers by August 1,
2001. Abstracts will be published in the Proceedings of
Fall 2001 Celebrating College Teaching Conference.
Abstracts should be typed using APA (American
Psychological Association) style, with notes at the end of
the document. Please submit camera-ready graphics
(when appropriate) and abstracts on a computer disk in
Word 97/2000 format. Abstracts should not exceed two
single-spaced pages, including references.
