Northeast Conference on British Studies
(EXTENDED) CALL FOR PAPERS
The 2001 Meeting of the Northeast Conference on British Studies will be held on November 16-17 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the
American Antiquarian Society in Worcester, Massachusetts. Worcester is
easily accessible from Boston by car or public transport. Leonore
Davidoff will be the keynote speaker.
Proposals for papers and panels are welcome in all fields of British
Studies. Proposals for papers and panels that consider Britain in
Atlantic, imperial, or comparative perspective are also welcome.
Please send a brief abstract of the proposal and a short Vita to:

The Northeast CBS serves as the regional gathering for colleagues in
the northeast states and eastern Canada but welcomes participants from
all regions.
