The Organization of American Historians wishes to remind all scholars of the upcoming 5 April preregistration deadline for its 94th Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, California, 26-29 April 2001.
This year the meeting is expected to draw 2,500 college and university faculty, graduate students, precollegiate teachers, book editors, librarians, public historians, and museum educators. Featured highlights include:
Presidential address by urban historian Kenneth T. Jackson
A session on writing biography including Blanche Wiesen Cook, David Levering Lewis, and Donald Worster
