CALL FOR PAPERS
MIDWEST HISTORY OF EDUCATION SOCIETY
The program chair invites you to submit a proposal for its annual
meeting held in Chicago, Illinois, Friday and Saturday, October 26 & 27, 2001.
We invite scholars from throughout the United States and abroad who would like to present on the history of education. Presenters are not restricted to themes or topics that exclusively deal with the Midwest. Our journal, American Educational History, seeks to publish scholarly papers whose topics are both national and international in scope.
This year's keynote speaker is Dr. Gerald Gutek, Professor Emeritus, Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Gutek will speak on the history of school reform.
This call for papers is non-themed.
