Albion College is pleased to announce a symposium, "The Holocaust and Moral Responsibility," to be held March 29 through April 5, 2001. This symposium is free and open to a general audience. Miriam Winter, Holocaust survivor and author of the autobiography Trains;
Renée Firestone, founding lecturer of the Simon Wiesenthal Center?s Educational Outreach Program in Los Angeles and subject of the documentary The Last Days, which received an Academy Award in 1999 for Best Feature Length Documentary;
Anne Dutlinger, Terezin art scholar/historian;
Rabbi Irving Greenberg, Holocaust historian/philosopher, president of Jewish Life Network and chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council;
John K. Roth, philosopher, member of United States Holocaust Memorial Council and the editorial board of Holocaust and Genocide Studies;
Michael Berenbaum, recent past president and CEO of the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation, writer, lecturer and teacher consulting in the conceptual development of museums and the historical development of films.
