A Series of Public Forums Sponsored by the Student-Labor Coalition at the University of Texas at Dallas
April 11-16, 2001
"Rethinking Globalization" will offer public forums to discuss the issues of fair trade, labor justice, environmental sustainability, and peace in the global political economy. The free Conference will bring together researchers and activists around the region from a score of organizations and universities. The Keynote Address "Grassroots Globalization vs. Elite Globalization" will be delivered by Kevin Danaher at 7 P.M. on Wednesday April 11th. Dr. Danaher is a sociologist who is a founder of Global Exchange, has taught at American University, and has been a senior policy analyst for Food First.
