The University
of Newcastle is launching a new MA programme,
from September 2001, under the title The
Americas: Histories, Societies, Cultures. The
programme is interdisciplinary and comparative,
drawing on the resources of the English, History,
Modern Languages, and Music departments, and
involving study of the Caribbean, North America,
and Latin America.

We are now considering applications from potential students. All applicants to the full-time programme will be automatically considered for bursaries of £1000.
