The department of History at the University of Bergen, Norway, is pleased to offer a distant learning course in Norwegian history via the Internet in the autumn of 2001. The course gives a chronological introduction to Norwegian history from the Vikings to our own times, and is aimed at part-time students or professionals outside Norway. The course will be taught from September 2001 through January 2002. Required reading and communication will be in English. Application deadline is June 1. 2001.
