The Waterfront Film Festival, held in Saugatuck, Michigan June 7-10, 2001, is a learning opportunity for film students! Waterfront Film has made arrangements with local universities so that film students receive credit for participating as volunteers. Not only do they get a good "behind the scenes" look at the business of independent film, they get the opportunity to make contacts with their peers and other film professionals.
