In 2002, Fitzroy Dearborn Publishers (Chicago and London) will publish the Encyclopedia of Twentieth Century Photography, intending it to be the authoritative guide to its subject well into the 21st century. It will be an international, interdisciplinary look at photography, in which important developments, movements, photographers, photographic institutions, and theoretical aspects of the field will be presented, along with information about equipment, techniques, and practical applications of photography.
