CALL FOR PAPERS: FALSENESS, FORGERIES AND
The French Center for the Study of Literature and History of the English-Speaking World (CELCLA), hosted at the University of Rouen (France) is planning the publication of a collection of original scholarly essays (December 2001) on the following subject: Falseness, forgeries and counterfeits.
The book will attempt to explore the various aspects implied by the subject in the fields of literature, critical theory, aesthetics, history, political science, sociology, race, class, ethnicity, gender, and linguistics.
Please send proposals including a one-page abstract, a current C.V. and email address. The deadline for submisson is June 30, 2001. Proposals should be addressed , preferably via email to:

Manuscripts (Word or RTF format) should be submitted no later than October 31, 2001 either by simple mail or via email, or fax. Papers should not exceed 20 type-written double-spaced pages (or 5,000 to 8,000 words), endnotes, tables, figures included, and should follow the MLA citation style. Book and journal titles should be italicized.
