This two day (10/11 April) postgraduate conference includes presentations by postgraduates from across the UK working on aspects of modern UK and European history.
Sessions include:
Gender, resistance, and reaction in modern Spain
Englishness - class, gender and community
Clothing, consumption and counterculture
This is an ESRC Postgraduate Training Event, meaning that as well as offering an opportunity to meet postgraduates and learn about their research, it is recognised as an event which will develop transferable skills and career devleopment, with specific sessions on publishing research and undertaking an academic career.
Booking fee: £5.00 student/unwaged, £10 waged - lunches and dinner inclusive, accommodation available. EARLY BOOKING (before March 1st) ADVISED.
