FREAC Conference
The annual conference of FREACs (Front Range Early American Consortium) will occur at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, September 28-29, 2001. This is an informal gathering of early American scholars who discuss research and teaching issues. Although most participants come from the Rocky Mountain region, other scholars from more provincial locales (including large urban centers) are also welcome.
To register for the conference (free) or for more information about lodging, please email Professor Ron Hatzenbuehler at hatzrona@isu.edu To reserve a room at the Antler Inn in Jackson, call 1-800-4TETONS and select option #3 from the menu. Then, mention reservation #212575 (ISU History). The rate will be $68/night, a reduction from the regular rate of $98/night.
To inquire about the program (which is in the process of being defined), contact Professor Billy Smith at bgs@montana.edu
