I am looking for one more participant for a panel I am putting together for the 2002 AHA Conference. The panel is called "Street Corner Frontiers: Understanding the Role of Urban Public Space in American History." Our focus is on the street and other urban spaces as social and cultural frontiers in American History. Other papers included in the panel deal with Age and Public Space in Philadelphia in the early twentieth century and the Counterculture and Public Space in the 1960s.
The deadline for proposals to the AHA is February 15, but proposals should be sent to me by February 12.
