Directory of American Scholars Nominations and Updates still being accepted
The tenth edition of the Directory of American Scholars is still accepting nominations and submissions for listings.
First published in 1942 under the auspices of the American Council of Learned Societies, the Directory of American Scholars, now published by the Gale Group, profiles more than 24,000 United States and Canadian scholars, currently active in teaching, research, and/or publishing. If you are an humanities or social sciences scholar (doctoral degree or equivalent; or active in scholarly work; or publishing scholarly works) and are interested in being listed or would like to nominate a colleague for listing, please forward the information to the address below or contact the editors via the e-mail address also listed below.
If you submitted your questionnaire last Spring and have not heard from the editors, your listing will appear in the next edition. You will not receive a proof of your entry prior to the tenth edition's publication, however, you will have the chance to update your listing prior to each subsequent edition.
If you are interested in being listed in the directory, and have not yet received a questionnaire or revision form, please contact Caryn
Anders, editor at (800)347-4253 ext. 2432. If you have received a questionnaire or revision, and are still interested in being listed, you may fax it to (800)339-3374 or send it to the address below.
If you are interested in submitting your entry electronically, please see the website listed below.
