The Forum on European Expansion and Global Interaction (F.E.E.G.I.) will hold its next meeting at the Huntington Library in San Marino, California, on February 15-16, 2002. The theme of the 2002 meeting will be "Global Interaction." Individual proposals on any theme during the early modern period, broadly defined, will be considered. An abstract of a paper proposal should be sent as an email attachment to Prof. Peter C. Mancall, Department of History, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas, 66045 (pmancall@ukans.edu). Proposals should include a 250-word abstract of the paper and an abbreviated c.v. Those who prefer a hard-copy submission must provide six (6) copies of the abstract and c.v. Proposals should be sent by March 20, 2001.
