23rd Annual Warren I. Susman Graduate Student Conference
Call for Papers
Each year, Rutgers University holds an interdisciplinary graduate student conference to honor the memory of the late Warren Susman, a pioneering cultural historian whose works include Culture as History: The Transformation of American Society in the Twentieth Century. This yearıs conference will be held Friday, April 6, 2001, at the Rutgers University Inn and Conference Center, New Brunswick, NJ. The conference committee is currently accepting papers or complete panels of three or four papers on any topic of historical interest, regardless of geographic area or time period. Multidisciplinary approaches are welcome.
For individual paper proposals, please submit 2 copies of a 250-word
abstract, along with a CV. For panel proposals, please submit a 250-word abstract for each paper along with a 250-word panel statement, along with CVs for each participant. The address for all submissions is:
