I am a professional freelance writer and editor currently working on an anthology that will include a section on activism and the environment. I am looking for contributions from both experts and non-experts in the U.S. who can provide suggestions and insights into how the average person can get involved in helping with environmental issues (whether that be personal or through a more activist stance) as well as stories of people who got involved and improved their own lives by making a difference.
I would also like to know if contributors think there is a link between living a fulfilling life, spirituality, and activism.
I cannot reimburse contributors, but if you are an expert, the book will provide free marketing to you or your organization; if you are a non-expert, you will be contributing to a dialogue that could become national in scope. Contributors may provide their real names or "pen names". If you are an expert, please include your area of expertise as well as any titles you have or book or papers you've written.
I have not marketed the book yet but will be compiling a list of people interested in obtaining a copy of the book that I can provide to a publisher if and when the book sells. If you are interested in receiving a copy, please e-mail me your name and address and I will add you to the list.
