After Aix-en-Provence (Maison Mediterraneenne des Sciences de l'Homme) and Berlin (Session at the International Urban History Conference), this is the third international encounter about the social impact of the technical modernisation of cities in the XIXth and XX centuries.
In Rome, papers will focus on Italian and Southern Europe cities, with contributions from K. Chatzis (Athens), S. Adorno (Syracuse), A. Da Silva (Lisbon), A. Giuntini (Italy), C. Worms (Madrid)...
F. Scherrer, S. Thibault and P. Capuzzo will present papers on the methodological stakes of network analysis under a social point of view.
The results of the whole program will be published by the Ecole francaise de Rome (French Research Center in Rome).
