The Carnegie Council invites applications from college teachers and independent scholars for its 2001 summer seminar "Supranationalism: The Ethics of Global Governance." The program will be held at the Council's headquarters in New York City from June 4 to July 13 under the auspices of the National Endowment for Humanities. Topics to be addressed include: citizenship in the global community, international law and human rights, global economic justice, military intervention, and global climate change.
